Knee pain

A poor foot alignment causes a wrong pattern of motion of the lower extremity. The hip, knee, ankle and foot will then rotate inward. This causes a poor knee alignment, which will overstretch the knee's inner structures and cause the kneecap’s incorrect alignment. This causes pain along the inside edge of the knee or in the kneecap.

When the poor foot position is corrected with exercises that strengthen the lower extremity and with taping, this will guide the position towards a normal centre position.
